San Antonio - An Ohio State University Alumni Club

To those who signed up for Friday's "Dinner with Dee"--Thank you for being great Alumni & Fans! I have you down for joining us at the Dee Miller dinner on Friday night, starting at 6pm with social period to get pics and autographs. Around 6:45 or 7pm, we will have dinner and enjoy each others' company. Around 7:30pm Dee will speak and answer your questions--think of some good ones--he has good insight on OSU recruiting, playing at OSU, OSU vs TSUN, NFL recruiting, injuries, announcing in Columbus, and a host of other issues.

Don't forget to bring an item for him to sign...I'll bring some Sharpies unless you want to bring your own. Since we didn't get the 60 + I'd hope for, each of you will get 4 free raffle tix to first gamewatch, and I'll bring a few items as door prizes. For adults, please pay myself or Maxine at the door ($25) and order from the Silver menu--posted on webpage and facebook. Cash or checks made out to The Ohio State Alumni Club of San Antonio. If you plan on having drinks/kids meals/second helpings :-)...then bring credit card if you want and we will work it with restaurant.  Menu choices summarized on attached flyer.

Everyone I have listed has either 1 or 2 in their party (except one family "starts with H" with 4). If you are bringing more, please let me know.

Well, it was a good run but with awful shooting, awful refs, and awful decision making in the first half...the Buckeyes gave themselves a hole they couldn't overcome with a final 3-point shot.  The result, when Craft made a 3-pointer with little time on the clock, the Buckeyes were still down by 4 points.  But we in Buckeye nation are still very proud of our team!  GO BUCKS!

For the second game in a row, the Buckeyes hit a last second 3-point shot to seal the victory as OSU looks to beat Wichita State and head to their second straight Final Four!  Aaron Craft has recorded 18 assists, 9 steals and 7 turnovers in three NCAA tournament games. The junior has disrupted the offensive rhythms of Iona, Iowa State and Arizona thus far.  Let's hope his MoJo is intact tonight!!  Here are some pics from Sweet 16 Gamewatch--Go BUCKS!

With the score tied after a furious push by the Cyclones...with less than 30 seconds remaining, Aaron Craft dribbled the clock down below 2 seconds, raises in the air and drills a 3-point basket to seal a hard fought win for the Buckeyes.  The crowd at Big Sams in San Antonio went wild!  On to the Sweet 16 on Thursday evening at 6:45pm CT, again at Big Sams!  Go Bucks!  Here are some pics.

Buckeye Fencers had a great dinner with our Alamo Club Thursday Night at Mi Tierra Restaurant and the men competed Thursday and Friday with Marco Caneveri winning the Men's Epee individual NCAA crown!  Congrats Marco and all the men's fencing team.  The Lady Buckeyes started their prelims today and several look to go far in the competition!  Here are some pics!  GO BUCKS!!

CHICAGO -- Aaron Craft dominated down the stretch for Ohio State and just about left his coach speechless in the process as the Buckeyes held on strong for a 61-58 victory over the Spartans.  A sweet revenge game for last year's finals loss, the Buckeyes were not to be denied.  Neither were the Alamo Club fans at Big Sams!!  A dozen of us enjoyed the food and the great TV coverage as we cheered, jeered, scowled, and howled the Buckeyes to the win.  Here are some pics.  Tomorrow's game is at 2:30pm CT at Big Sams!!  Go Bucks.
