Evanston: Aaron Craft delivered the ball to Sullinger, and Sully turned and banked in the game-winner with 3.1 seconds left Wednesday night as #10 Ohio State recovered after squandering a 13-point lead to beat Northwestern 75-73. The Buckeyes played well for 32 minutes and 3 seconds, but allowed an 8-0 run by NW tie the score up with 7 seconds left. Luckily, that was enough time to avoid losing 4 of 7 games. It does move the Buckeyes into position to share the Big Ten Title with MSU with a win over the Spartans on Sunday. GO BUCKS!! |

Both OSU Men and Women are ranked 8-11, depending on poll. Atrocious! Each team has had periodic let downs or lost focus during losses (and some wins). Men have Wisc, Ill (revenge game), NWU, and a rematch at MSU left before Big Ten Play...Not easy, but they need to sweep!! Hang On there Sloopy!! Big Ten Tourney 8-11 March.
The Women have only two games left, Gophers and Huskers...they are in better shape going into the Big Ten Tourney. Good luck to both!
If it comes down to the March 4th game between OSU and MSU on 4 March (Sunday, time TBD), anyone want to do a gamewatch? Let me know on here or email

Syracuse (22-1) jumped Ohio State (19-3) for the No. 2 spot in ESPN polls (go figure) despite a controversial win over West Virginia in which an apparent goaltending play that would have tied the game late was not called. But Pollsters like those East teams. Buckeyes move up one to #3 in the AP Poll. We'll just have to keep winning and take it all in the NCAAs! Go Bucks! |
