OSU Decathaletes Compete in Austin |

It was fun representing the San Antonio Alumni Club in cheering on our Buckeyes who came down to participate in the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin. Decathaletes Cory Kunze and Heath Nickles ran hurdles, threw discus and javeline, pole vaulted and sprinted their way through the events in a manner that made us all proud. Accompanied by their parents Ava and Randy Nickles, and Jim and Jane Kunze, the Buckeyes placed consistently in the top tier of the 20 participants from schools across the nation. Here are some pics...something to appreciate is the dedication to a sport when all you have in the stands are your parents--these athletes do it for the school, for their loved ones, and to consistently better themselves. We should ALL be proud of them!! Go Bucks!!
